October 6 University- Egypt- gives the graduates a Bachelor of pharmacy (B. pharm.) degree in accordance to the recommendation of the faculty's board.
Bachelor degree requirements: A bachelor degree requires: The student has to study and pass different syllabi of a total (180) credit hours which should include: (156) credit hours of compulsory syllabi (12) credit hours of elective syllabi from the selected ones that the faculty and the university boards approved. Moreover, the faculty board could change those syllabi to keep it updated. (12) credit hours of the university required syllabi.
The student also has to fulfill a total of (300) training hours in any pharmaceutical establishment, example: (pharmacies of all types, pharmaceutical factories, hospitals, etc …). In addition to (100) hours clinical training in one of the universities hospitals or an approved hospital by the faculty under an academic supervision so that these hours are done beginning from the fourth level (in order to have the students would be in an appropriate scientific level for training).
