Construction and Building engineering is one of the largest departments of the faculty. It advances the mechanics of civil and structural engineering systems within the broader context of the design, construction and operation of sustainable infrastructure and the stewardship of Earth's resources and environment. The Building and Construction department prepares students with the professional capabilities to critically address the present and evolving needs of the construction industry. To perform successfully in the construction industry, students must develop an understanding of the aspects of construction while applying useful construction management practices and tools to maintain control and provide informed optimal decisions. |
